2018 The year for manifesting what you want!

Wow what a year 2017 was! Across the board we have noticed that for a lot of people, 2017 was an introspective year of looking at ourselves, evaluating our lives, our values and philosophy, who we want to be, what we want to create and how we want to transform our health. For some of us, it was also a year of many challenges and obstacles that really tested our faith and perseverance. 

In Chinese philosophy, 2018 is the year of the dog and the energy is of the yang earth element. This can give rise to social movements, generosity and individuals coming together to create change. Coming together as a community is the only way to combat the imbalanced aspects of earth such as selfishness, loneliness and melancholy. If 2017 is individualism, 2018 could be seen as a year to band together. All the work you are doing on yourself may be better served in a group or community environment for more far reaching benefits. 

So if 2017 was the year of cocooning, contemplating and dreaming, let’s make 2018 the year of active manifestation! You know what you want, you’ve sorted your priorities, and you can see where you want to be so it’s time to make it happen! Let’s do it together!

Some important questions to consider in the new year…

  • What where my learnings in 2017?
  • What personal growth have I achieved?
  • What and who am I grateful for in my life?
  • What do I want to change in my life?
  • What steps have I taken towards improving my health?
  • Have these been effective?
  • What else could I do? What changes do I need to make?
  • How dedicated am I to the betterment of my health and life? Is my health my number one priority?
  • If not, why not?
  • What do I want 2018 to be like?
  • How do I want to feel this year?
  • How do I want to handle challenges and obstacles this year?
  • What kind of people do I want in my life?
  • What kind of people could I do without?
  • What kind of person do I want to be to others?
  • What kind of person do I want to be to myself?
  • Am I being my own best friend or am I sabotaging my health and happiness?
  • What can I do to transform my health?
  • Do I have the courage to make those first steps?
  • Do I need assistance and guidance from professionals?
  • Would I like to be a part of a community that works together towards similar health goals?

There is no right or wrong answer, just some questions that can be helpful to stop, reflect and set the stage for a great year ahead rather than steamrolling through and repeating the same patterns and unconsciousness habits.

We are fortunate in Australia to have the ability to make choices and direct our lives (largely). What an incredible thing that we get to choose to be healthy or not and mould our lives the way we want. With this privilege comes the responsibility to share our learnings with others and help the world become a better place for individuals less aware or less fortunate. 

What you choose to do with this year is up to you, but if health, happiness and community are top priorities for you then we are here for you with our arms wide open.
