To feel good.
To be of sound mind.
To have the required strength & mobility to complete a desired physical movement.
To approach optimal health as a life long journey.
What do you love about the work you do?
My patient’s, students and team- I feel privileged to spend as much time as I do having chats and learning about different people. I also enjoy the constant challenge. Every body is different, the same injury/condition in one person can manifest as something different in another.
Favourite condition/s to treat?
I’m not sure if I have favourites, I guess I enjoy the variety that seems to organically arise.
Favourite way to move your body?
Dancing! Especially breaking but I do enjoy a variety of styles.
What podcast are you currently listening to?
I’m currently not listening to any podcasts but I am listening to the audio book of “Thinking, fast and slow” by Daniel Kahneman. It’s a brilliant book discussing our intuitive and conscious brain.
Your ‘must do’ daily health practice?
My morning green smoothie, it’s tasty and healthy! I know I don’t consume as many vegetables as I should, so getting some additional servings at breakfast time is a sneaky way to squeeze them in.
“We can do anything but not everything”- David Allen. I’ve got it on my fridge to see every morning, it reminds me to make wise decisions about how I spend my time.
